Parent PLUS
If a PLUS Loan (parent loan) has been accepted the student and the parent will need to complete the PLUS Loan Authorization Form.Download and print the 2009-2010 PLUS Loan Authorization Form*
Complete and submit the form to our office.
To complete the PLUS EMPN you will need your PIN number from the FAFSA. If you do not have it you will need to have them send you another one. You can do this by going to the PIN (www.pin.ed.gov) website. This is a different PIN number than the one you use for Norse Express.

You will need to chose either Great Lakes or KHEAA as a guaranty agency. (IMPORTANT NOTE: This is a personal preference. The interest rates will be the same and all business will be done either online, by mail or phone. The guaranty agency is the institution that gives the banks the money to lend to you.You can access their websites to help you make this decision if you wish: Great Lakes..KHEAA) You will also be asked to chose a lender during the completion of the EMPN. Again this is personal preference. The interest rates are standard across the board. To view a list of lenders click on the "Lenders" link. Be sure to print a copy for your records before you submit it.
Upon approval the loan funds will be disbursed to the school
If you are borrowing a PLUS loan and you have not filed the FAFSA you will need to complete the Parent PLUS Loan Eligibility Confirmation Form* and return it to our office so we can fully process the PLUS Loan.
