Do you have loans? If you do, you'll need to take care of a couple things, like signing your Electronic Master Promissory Note or going through online Loan Entrance Counseling. Northern Kentucky University is now a direct lending school!
Beginning with the 2010 summer semester, Northern Kentucky University will be participating in the William D. Ford Direct Loan Program.
What is Direct Lending?
Direct lending is when eligible students and parents borrow directly from the federal government. Direct Loans include subsidized and unsubsidized Direct Subsidized and Unsubsidized Loans, Direct PLUS Loans and Direct Consolidation Loans. You repay these loans directly to the U.S. Department of Education.

* At least $6,000 of this amount must be in unsubsidized loan.

The aggregate loan limit for a dependent student is $31,000
The aggregate loan limit for an independent student is $57,500
The aggregate loan limit for a law/graduate student is $138,500 (no more than $65,500 may be subsidized). The law/graduate limit does include what is received as an undergraduate student.
