Northern Kentucky University provides scholarships to new freshmen and transfer students as well as current NKU students.

Merit Scholarships

The scholarship process is very competitive and based on excellence in academic achievement.

Athletic Scholarships

Student athletes interested in scholarships must contact the Office of Intercollegiate Athletics.

Fine Arts Scholarships

Fine arts scholarships are offered by academic departments.  You must show excellence in performance or technical achievement as demonstrated by an audition, interview or portfolio work.  Look for details or to register for an audition on their websites:

ROTC Scholarships

Scholarships pay 100% tuition and educational fees at NKU for either two, three, or four years. Scholarship recipients also receive additional dollars for books, and living expenses Please review details for each scholarship:

Externally Funded Scholarships

There are scholarship dollars available through corporate and non-profit agencies that are not University sponsored.  Please note:  Any scholarship opportunity or service that offers to find you scholarship money for a fee should be avoided.  Check out these sites:  Fastweb.com and CollegeBoard.
